We help them protect their investment. Our team runs the background history of property being purchased, and issues title insurance that ensures their ownership rights to the property. We are proud of our team here on the beautiful Emerald Coast. We are growing and looking for a Closing Specialist for our office located on 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida . Are you a hard-working individual that loves the challenge of working with detail, assuring accuracy, and completing a task? Do you like the responsibility of verification of a process to ensure that all steps are fully executed?

A Day in the Life of a Closing Specialist:

  1. Understand your job and how important it is to live the culture and mission of Setco Services in all dealings and communications
  2. Work closely with your team to close timely real estate transactions
  3. Review file for accuracy and completion in accordance with company policy
  4. Review and prepare accurate closing documents
  5. Work with lender to complete the Closing Disclosure ensuring that all fees for balance between parties
  6. Accurate, efficient and timely receive wires, balance file, and disperse closing funds
  7. Confirm receipt of payoff, termite inspection, survey, HOA and other documents
  8. Review and verify executed documents for accuracy and completion
  9. Submit final file to Post Closing team for audit
  10. Handle internal and external communication and provide documentation as requested.
  11. Work in a paperless environment utilizing proprietary title and escrow software.

What You Need

  1. Proficiency in MS Office suite and other software programs
  2. Strong analytical skills with keen attention to details
  3. Comfortable working independently and with team to follow strict policy to complete the closing process
  4. Enjoy working on several projects at once that require frequent shifts in direction and prioritization
  5. Dependable and trustworthy who cares about getting things done timely
  6. Proactive and results oriented with natural ability to continuously improve processes
  7. Previous experience working in banking, legal, appraisal, and other similar positions preferred
  8. Florida Title Agent License a plus
